Three master thesis projects are available to study epileptic brain activity and structure using different imaging methods:

— Implementation and comparison of source localization algorithms for localizing the seizure focus using EEG

— Detection of structural abnormalities in MR images of epileptic brains

— Automated analysis of SPECT images for extraction of abnormal brain activity in epileptic patients

Three PhD project lines are available to study epileptic brain activity and structure using different imaging methods:

— Combined analysis of EEG and structural MR images for localization of seizure focus in epileptic patients

— Combined analysis of SPECT and structural MR images for localization of seizure focus in epileptic patients

— 3D co-registration of SPECT and MR images
