Cardiac MRI : short axis (SA) Cardiac MRI (CMRI), the images of the left ventricular region were selected for all frames and their contrast was increased by windowing.all slices are segmented interactively exactly based on the algorithm introduced by Heiberg. A volumetric template from the 3D image which covers LV muscles environmentally was made. the SA slices have a minimum thickness of 5 mm ignoring the gap between the slices, where the resolution of the image screen is approximately 1 mm.
